KG mit Produktionsequipment zum Laser-Trimmen aus. Dies gab die 3D-Micromac AG, ein führender Anbieter von Lasermikrobearbeitungs- und Rolle-zu-Rolle-Lasersystemen für die Halbleiter-, Photovoltaik-, Glas- und Displayindustrie, heute bekannt. Für sein neues Werk in Dresden bestellte die Infineon Technologies Dresden GmbH &amp; Co. KG als ein weltweit führender Hersteller von Halbleiterlösungen eine erste microVEGA® FC Laseranlage in Chemnitz.</p>
<p>Dem Auftrag ging ein gemeinsames Entwicklungsprojekt voraus, in dem der hochspezialisierte Laser-Trimming-Prozess in ein massenproduktionstaugliches Lasersystem überführt wurde. Als Basis diente das <a href="https://3d-micromac.de/laser-mikrobearbeitung/produkte/microvega-fc/">microVEGA-System</a>, das bereits mehrfach für die Bearbeitung von bis zu 12 Zoll großen Wafern in der Halbleiter-Industrie eingesetzt wird.</p>
<p>Bei der microVEGA FC wird der im einstelligen Mikrometerbereich geformte Laserstrahl kontinuierlich über Halbleiterchips bewegt. Während dieser Bewegung werden definierte Verbindungen auf den Halbleiterwafern nach Vorgabe selektiv durchtrennt. Dieser Trimming-Prozess passt den Widerstandswert in einzelnen IC-Chips an einen Zielwert an. Aufgrund der geringen Größe der Strukturen (ca. 1-2 µm) und der daraus resultierenden extrem hohen Anforderungen an die dreidimensionale Positioniergenauigkeit des Laserspots ergeben sich höchste Anforderungen an die Maschinenhardware. Besonders herausfordernd ist die implementierte Messtechnik zur 100-prozentigen Prozesskontrolle. Das von 3D-Micromac entwickelte microVEGA FC System verfügt über ein vollautomatisches Handling für 8- und 12-Zoll-Wafer. Bei Prozess-Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 400 mm/s erreicht das System eine Positioniergenauigkeit von ±200 nm (bei Sigma 3).</p>
<p>In der im Bau befindlichen Smart Power Fab am Standort Dresden wird Infineon ab Herbst 2026 Analog/Mixed-Signal-Technologien sowie Leistungshalbleiter fertigen. Diese kommen vor allem in Systemen zur Stromversorgung zum Einsatz. In energieeffizienten Ladegeräten, in kleinen Motorsteuerungen für das Auto, in Rechenzentren und in Anwendungen im Internet der Dinge ermöglicht das Zusammenspiel von Leistungshalbleitern und Analog/Mixed-Signal-Bausteinen besonders energieeffiziente und intelligente Systemlösungen.</p>

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir jetzt die erste Anlage bei 3D-Micromac bestellen konnten.“ Die Ausstattung weiterer Produktionsstandorte von Infineon mit hochspezialisierten Laser-Trimming-Lösungen der 3D-Micromac AG ist gemeinsames, erklärtes Ziel.</p>
